Royalwaster
MouldyRoyal Yeah there's a fair amountnof flexibility obviously. But it really highlights where the holes are CB and forwards.

Dorsett is a CB though, no?

I remembered him more as a LB but that may simply be as a result of not having any so him having to play there.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Rearranged Sutekh's post to group by position (as to me that is more important): Goal Keepers: Joel PEREIRA (31) Jack STEVENS (29) Tom NORCOTT (20) Matthew ROWLEY (20) Right Back: Kelvin ABREFA (20) Andy YIADOM (34) Tivonge RUSHESHA (23) Emmanuel OSHO (19) Boyd BEACROFT (20) Centre Back: Paudie O’CO...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

AthleticoSpizz If he’s ‘not good enough’ to be a regular starter here for us, that doesn’t bode well for the team that will be starting him regularly.

Do you think Reading and Exeter have equal expectations of what their season could be?

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

I am definitely glass half full but it’s hard to make the case that Wareham would go to Exeter unless they are paying him more or offering a longer term contract. Him and Craig would be big losses. I suspect they have offered him a wage that is higher because they see him as a starting forward and ...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

I think the other thing I would point out is that the new administration have a problem that we haven't seen in 20 odd years, i.e. having so few people in contract at the end of the season. Obviously this is simply the hand they have been dealt by the previous regime, but I suspect the proportion of...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Like others, not sure losing Wareham or Wifi is the loss some are making it out to be. If they want to go be first team regulars and we see them as squad players, then it suggests we are setting our sights above them some what. Which is probably right given we struggled for goals from forwards post ...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

So what's happened here? Was expecting the H&P themed kit to be revealed by now. Last minute revisions ordered by the new owners or just usual Reading revealing it late?

Elm Park Kid The new kit design is already done - I saw it this morning.

It's . . . um. . . .interesting. Can't reveal anything other than i'm expecting that most of you are going to hate it.

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

Aliya Capital use their LinkedIn to confirm they are joining the ownership group as per the Bloomberg story from last week. Interesting to see how this is structured, will it be an investment in shares in Red/Dogwood or debt funding into the club. Obviously the former is better for the long term he...

Re: Rob Couhig - New Interview

It's all well and good saying BBC Berks should ask the tough questions, but we have seen with other clubs how quickly they can get banned from the club by overzealous owners and club management.

Re: OFFISHAL CONFRIMATION of the CONFIMRED

It's likely just intercompany debt at this point, i.e. debt that the Club legal entity owns to another member of the Redwood group.

External debt is a much more interesting thing to find out.

Sadly much of this will be invisible until we get the accounts covering this period in March next year.

Re: CONFRIMATION of the CONFIMRED

It'd be a huge task, but I would love to see a complete timeline of events in the Dai ownership. For those of us who weren't alive or old enough to understand events of the Thames Valley Royals era, this has been the period of greatest uncertainty in the club's collective memory. While a lot of it i...

Re: G’arn then, somebodies got to….In Praise of Dai Yoonge

What happened to the alleged £200m he spent? That was listed as debt on one of his companies that owned the club before the sale, has it now been wiped? Whose money was it as it seemed like he borrowed a lot of it from all sorts of people and secured it on our assets? Have the lenders taken a hairc...

blueroyals Who other than RC and TT are shareholders in Dogwood LLC if anyone? What % do RC and TT own?

We should get answers to your other questions but i suspect the US side will remain a mystery as they don't have as public a registry of companies as in the UK.

New Owners - Redwood Watch

I know this has been posted in the confrimed thread but I thought it might be useful to have a thread to cover and discuss our new owners' first 100 days or whatever. Day of acquisition, interesting if haphazard interview with sky from Couhig. https://www.skysports.com/football/video/16496/13367936/...
