Re: FA Cup Quarter Final Match Thread - Man City(A)

Very proud of Reading atm, the amount of money City have spent on their team and the result only ended up as 1-0 with us holding our own in the first half. Very proud.

Re: millwall at home

Millwall fans clamber across netting to try and intimidate hard core Reading fans - who seem oblivious as they briefly look up from their knitting and breast feeding
In the home end, stewards escort Reading fans out after persistent loud singing

LOL!

Re: How to creat a better atmosphere at the mad stad

Putting up a video of all my loved ones being beheaded and systemically raped on the video screen would be an improvement on most Madejski matchday experiences.

LOL

Re: How to creat a better atmosphere at the mad stad

1. More goal music would help even when we don't score or maybe just pumping out all the time!

No.

Re: Family Club of the Year

They have taken a air of silence after I tweeted to ask them and no reply to my email.............

That air of silence has drifted into the stadium and has been there for quite a while

Re: Stewarding today in Y26

Big LOL at the steward in the first half who came to the front of y26 and was flapping his arms trying to get people at the front of the stand to sit down, the response was even better!

Re: Back from the game Stevenage

At half time, I was stood near the front but to the side of the stand near the burger bar. A lad got caught smoking, and in school playground style way, as the steward confronted the man, I whipped the cig out of the blokes hand behind his back and held it for him while he was questioned. HelpfulLA...

Re: Reading Fans

Reading fans aren't working class, which is why. Millwall, cardiff, man utd( away fans), leeds, etc all hail from working class city's with traditional working class support. The working class are more passionate about their football than the middle to upper class who try and bring logic to the gam...

Only saw it because there seemed to be a lot of jumping and shouting going on so I looked over. Not one of these people that come to watch the fans shout at eachother rather than watch the game.

Re: Stewarding today in Y26

The stewards say they're not interested with the away fans and it's the home fans they keep an eye on, I saw the coin throwing incident today though and not one of them did anything. They are useless IMO.

Re: Back from the game - West Brom FA Cup

Good game today I thought, Great game from Long again and a superb finish. Cummings had a very solid game and would like to see him in the team more often. Still think Kebe needs to use his speed and run at players more. Also for what the attendance was, the atmosphere was quite good! Bring on the n...

Re: Back from the Game - Burnley

First half was quite poor in all honesty.
Second half was ... better. Long had a good game and took both goals well, great corner from Mcanuff for the second goal.

Thought the atmosphere was poor and also why do the stewards record y26/25 even if nobody seems to be standing up?
