Re: Ron would not have been impressed

If the allegation proves to be true would that make any difference?.... I'm guessing if it was true he wasn't very good at it to have only got as far as league one.

Re: Ex Royals (No not prince Andrew)

I always liked Hughesy and thought he did well when he played left-back for a few games. His problem was that he was a decent all-rounder but not outstanding in one position, so got shifted all over the place to cover. I was pretty young at the time, but I seem to remember he was one of the key pla...

Re: Ron would not have been impressed

Does this mean we need to sign an assistant kit man on loan as cover for 6 games or will someone have to "play" out of position? I wonder what he said, if he said the referee was bent that could have meant corrupt, although he admitted the charge so either he said something else or calling...

Re: Ex Royals (No not prince Andrew)

Although eventually we get frustrated with effort over lack of talent. See Andy Hughes I think part of the problem with Andy Hughes was that he was played out of position a lot. although I don't think he knew what his best position was and was happy to play where and how the manager needed him. Whe...

Re: US Political situation - Any impact on Reading FC?

We have American owners, in fact Rob Coughig is listed on the internet as being a Republican (doesn't necessarily makes him pro-Trump). Interesting times. Given the spotlight on anything or anyone connected to the USA at the current time. Goodwill can soon disappear to be replaced by outright negat...

US Political situation - Any impact on Reading FC?

We have American owners, in fact Rob Coughig is listed on the internet as being a Republican (doesn't necessarily makes him pro-Trump). Just wondering if this Greenland takeover/invasion/purchase talk and the tariff war and unconfirmed suggestion that Europe may sell their bonds and crash the Dollar...

Maybe you expect him to be a mind reader or browse this message board daily? Send an email to him, maybe contact STAR as I imagine they have open channels of ...

So.,.. other than this thread, what's the best way to follow the Womens team? They seem to be so far down the leagues it doesn't get reported and the official site isn't that great.

Richardson Out - Reading fans love a good moan and he isn't giving us enough to moan about what with winning games and climbing the table.
The club are not helping at all, they've introduced Pukka Pies so we can't even moan about the catering.

Re: You can’t say I didn’t warn you!

I suspect there was £3.75m held back from the sale of the club and this may be owed to the former owner but not yet payable, This being an agreed way to secure that debt..... financially speaking, would we rather he just send £3.75m to the former owner now and have no money available to run the club...

Re: Richardson out

He's achieved nothing since he came here. Could you just delete the thread please Forbes. The last thing we need is an easy place to troll or encourage shit posting about Richardson every time a result doesn't go perfectly. I disagree, it's best to keep it all on one thread as it's easier to ignore...

Re: Joe Jacobson - Liability or Asset ?

A good read.

Everytime I head DoF mentioned, I wonder what Nicky Hammond's up to... probably still selling rubbish players for millions to Derby or Sunderland and buying star players for peanuts.... I'd welcome him back if he could pull a few more rabbits out of the hat.

Re: Panini Football League Sticker collection 2025-26

788 stickers to collect (I googled) £1 for a pack of 5 stickers £157.60 plus the cost of the album to complete assuming no duplicates Can Reading produce their own Reading FC sticker book or do the rights sit with Panini as the EFL holder? - Maybe make them trading cards you can store in an album. This is where I would expect Jay to pop up under whatever his latest username is and say he's a big garage music fan, then when quizzed on what he thinks garage music is he'll say it's when he listens to Atomic Kitten in the garage, Something he used to do when he had his bachelors degree and not on...

Re: What to do with the troublesome AM role?

Savage and Wing can rotate this role during the game as long as they have someone else to replace one of them in their current deeper midfield role.... hopefully Rino if he's as good or better than he was when he was here the first time (if he is, then it's surprising he didn't have better offers)
