Re: Hunt out.

Ritchie should be able to play 90 mins or else don’t think we should have signed him (though he is obvs doing a job as sub) Again he’s only 36. England have picked a 35 year old midfielder in their latest squad (alright he’s rubbish but still). 36 isn’t THAT old… Riche gives us something we don't h...

Re: Hunt out.

I’ve had no issues with the subs Hunt has made generally. Regularly changed the game I would argue as SCR that sometimes those subs should have started and I wouldn’t mind seeing them made a bit earlier sometimes but in the whole they’ve been pretty good I have always thought that about substitutio...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

AthleticoSpizz Pezzolano sacked by Watford ( )
7 points from their last three games

They really do things differently at Watford don't they, including bringing back previously sacked managers.

Re: Hunt out.

I'd say it's the following: Several players, the younger ones in particular, have regressed under Hunt. Kelvin, Lane, Abrefa, Savage this season, Elliott. I can't think of any except maybe Kyerewaa that have improved. The football is boring and turgid. Other managers work out how to play against us...

Re: Hunt out.

Many seem to feel that we have a good squad that Hunt is not getting the best from. Some feel that it is just a matter of time, it will all come together and it will all gel. Still early days in the season but my take is that the players really aren't very good and Hunt must have had a say in bringi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : MK Dons (h)

I just don't get all the Elliott love. Felt he offered little tonight, although not as poor as Lane. He's back to looking lightweight. Kelvin just isn't a striker. Yiadom looked excellent for 45. Ryan looks a superb prospect. We all see games differently. I agree on Kelvin and Yiadom but thought Ry...

Re: MATCHWATCH : MK Dons (h)

A few things about tonight. Kelvin still can't play as a striker even against a 4th division reserves side. Lane doesn't impress although little has been made of the fact that he missed most of the second part of last season through injury. Borgnis again looked comfortable at centre-back but he didn...

Re: Hunt out.

Kelvin did very little on Saturday and was disappointing in the cup last Tuesday - just don’t see a consistent player in there worth persevering with Know he split opinion a fair amount but would quite like to have seen Campbell back in the summer - doing OK at Stevenage and thought he was our most...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Mansfield Town (h)

Not been impressed by Kyreewa (probably spelled that wrong) and the sooner we have Paudie and Williams back, the better. Think it's time to drop Ahmed too. Whilst I dislike the stockpiling of average loan players - there’s also an element where we’re rushed into judging players based off of a cup g...

It gets stupider each season He has been there for 9 months. During that time Luton have been relegated to our division and this season his record is 6 wins and 6 losses out of 13 games, 5 wins and 5 losses in the league. Luton no doubt had an aim of immediate promotion having fallen so far and so ...

Re: Weekend Football

So the long throw is back with a b vengeance. From Brentford to Newcastle to Palace and Everton to Arsenal we are now waiting ages for the throws to be taken as these forward-thinking coaches have stumbled on the idea that you have a better chance of scoring a goal if the ball is actually in the pen...

Re: Scottish premier league.

Would love to see somebody other than Celtic win it, but not really likely is it. Hearts have started well but they`ll fall away as the season progresses and the usual suspect will surge clear and win it by 20 points. Maybe not this season but there is a chance going forward for Hearts now that Ton...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Mansfield Town (h)

Having given great thought to the matter, in particular after the performance against not so long ago non-league Mansfield, my conclusion is , with 10 points from 10 games, we are just not very good whatever 11 is selected.. Or maybe it's the way you play that best 11. But what is our best 11? Do w...

Re: Weekend Football

Palace coming to terms with playing midweek football in Europe? Today they looked likely to win the game easily at Everton and made most of the running. Come the second half Everton decide to turn up and manage to score a penalty and a jammy rebound from Grealish who, the manager said in the week, s...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

How did LFC manage the transitions back in the day, SCR? I'm vaguely aware of the 'boot room' culture, but not too sure what it actually is Basically promoting from within and people with long associations with the club who understand and were instrumental in establishing the culture. In other word...

I told you that you should have waited.
What an in depth squad Chelsea now have and the latest South American starlet is probably going to be a bit special.

Oh well, Man Utd up next will be interesting.

Lost two games this week and have been knocked off top spot...not looking good for Slot! getting the LOLs in before the Chelsea game You were a bit slow to post that, the last game was on Tuesday. If I had been you I would have waited for today's result v Chelsea and if Liverpool win you needn't bo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Mansfield Town (h)

Oh well. A tale of two moments really. One goal completely against the run of play that's a catalogue of errors and a missed open goal. Either of those slightly different and we probably win that. Salvaged the draw at least. Really need those defenders back, and to see more from the wide players an...
