RoyalBlue Text back from my daughter who has gone to the game 'We are sh*t. Simple as.'
Quelle surprise.

Text from my son who is also there -'We have completely dominated this half.' Phone call from same son ' this is a really entertaining game and I am loving it.'

RoyalBlue I'm sick and tired with what is happening at the club and it winds me up even more when there are still blind RTGs on here claiming all is well.

Kebe lays it back to Cummings to cross and Tabb wins a near post header, but he can only glance the ball across the face of goal and wide of the woodwork. Reading in the ascendency here.

I know it is just my RTGs - but that sounds pretty +ve to me.

Of course it does, if you consider conceding 3 goals against a team fighting relegation from the Championship, positive.

However, anyone suggesting that a result today will signify a vast improvement and be the basis for a realistic chance of the playoffs is smoking the same stuff as the Chairman (figuratively speaking only!).

After the first half??

The match stats certainly didn't support domination. Nor did one shot on target. Mick Gooding who I'm sure knows more about football than either of us stated that we played really poorly to end up in a position where we were 2-0 down.

As you say Quelle surprise. Memories of how we used to play just a couple of years ago forgotten and already conditioned for lower level Championship/League 1 shyte. Some people are happy to accept failure/second best. Others aren't. I know which camp tends to be the most successful.

Comment from BBCRB at start of second half. Reading are looking good when they play short, sharp passes, but are really struggling with the long pass. So why do we persist in using it!

You aren't so much "glass half empty" as a "glass half empty, but enough still in there to ruin the carpet when it spills, breaking on the floor, giving a cut that could give an infection and prove fatal" kind of guy.

The MBM said Cummings replaced by Karacan because of an injury.

Any details? Serious? :(

If this was happening the other way round it would be a case of 2-0 and you F'd it up. This way round we get the negatives about failing to beat a team that hasn't conceded at home since November.

Lord give me faith.

Right, so we really need 25/27 points from 36 left..........can't see it happening TBH.

3-3 finished, on a positvie note though we are 1 point closer to 6th place a win today would have been great for our play-off push, we're still just about in it but time is running out we need to turn our draws into wins

No, I think that play offs and promotion look a distant possibility now - but what the hell, next year will be another rollercoaster ride in the Championship.
