The Mail article is a bit of a hatchet job, no surprise there then !

Begs the question as to whether we should care where any money invested in the company comes from. Sagi looks to have earned his money legally although you could questions the ethics. But the there are Massive Premiership clubs who have owners with very dodgy backgrounds.

Michael Meaker Seems like a good guy:

It's not anything illegal. If he were to come in and get the club on its feet I couldn't give a fcuk.

Are there any other owners out there with background in gambling? How would the FA take to that?

Stoke are funded by a gambling dynasty aren't they ? Or is it payday loans ?

This guy is a software developer rather than a front line gambling company

Yeah, I'm sure the insider trading that he was sent to jail for was actually perfectly legal

I'm sorry, but if you're hoping to find a really nice billionaire that's happy to come in, clear £40m worth of debt, and then continue to fund what is sure to be a >£5m operating loss season-on-season then we'll be waiting a while.

As long as he's got money, has good intentions for the club, and is ambitious then I'm happy.

I didn't read the whole article to be fair. I don't think we're in a position to be picky anyway. And he's done his time, right?

Seems like he will be an ideal fit for the Premier League when he gets us back there!

If this is true it looks as though JM is getting a little less fussy about who he sells to!

First new signings of the new regime!

East stand concourse will be even more crowded with them everywhere.

Is this the first time there has been a Sagi chopper on view in the stadium car park ?

If you are a fool and enjoy believing these rumours too much (like me).

Sagi was in the chopper on Wednesday. Values at over £2 billion. Certainly comes to the table with bundles of cash and ambition #readingfc
