If SC is satisfied that Ferdinand is 100% ready I think he should play
him, if only to give Hector a kick up the backside.

I suspect he'll play Williams but I'd really like to see Fernandez get a start instead

IMO Williams flatters to deceive and I'd prefer a player who is more part of the machine

As for shape, 4-3-3 suits Blackman wide but we lack width. Would prefer 442
with Blackman in MF but very forward. Don't like him in the middle up front
or playing out and out RW

Tough on Sa but, with Blackman on fire, the time has come to see him in poll position where he can do most damage.

4-4-2 seems more suited to McCleary's game and worth a go against lesser oppo. Also feel Vydra's pace and Blackman's trickery are better suited to unlocking stubborn rear guards.

Some fresh legs with Ferdinand back (assuming fit to start) as Hector might benefit from a rest.

They have a quite a few key players out so I imagine they will be playing quite deep. I would rest Orlando, bring in Piazon and put Vydra as the no.9 down the middle.
