Ten days after a miserable strugle at home against a Wimbledon side that are actually quite useful, and certainly won't be fulfilling the favourites for relegation mantra, comes another shot at breaking the run of what is now five defeats in a row at home (incl. PSFs) as the Wombles return for a League Cup tie.
However while things at least appear to be going in the right direction for Reading on the pitch, there's likely to be a break in proceedings as both teams will probably field different XIs from those of a couple of Saturdays ago, let's hope Reading turn up with a Wycombe attitude and a bout of unforgiving revenge on the mind though.
