What's the obsession with playing players out of position?

Personally I think he look a bit too flat footed to play in midfield, and although his passing is good I'm not sure he'd suit the quicker interchanges in the midfield.

I think we need a dominant midfielder though, but I don't think it exists anywhere in the squad.

I though Harte was out of position already,

"too old, too slow to play LB, which is why he was Carlisle's Centre-Back."

He's not out of position, he's playing in a position that he's extremely experienced in.

It might not be the one he's best suited to these days but that's an entirely different proposition.
