Well that’s a huge win isn’t it?

Looked solid, dangerous in the first half and some nice patterns appearing

We did tire though. Need to get fitter

Abrefa was excellent bar that back pass. Front 4 massively better. JP excellent, Dorsett, Paudie and Williams a great job

9 more days until Wigan. Lots of training ground time so hopefully can build upon this.

We looked like a normal Football team today.

DK looked decent tonight
Lane anonymous
Wing played in a much more advanced role today
PoC reminds me of ivar Ingimarsson
Williams solid as ever
Dorsett has looked solid absolutely nothing has come down our left
Abrefa just has too many mistakes in him
Doyle is dog shit
Savage good goal runs around a lot never achieves much
Kelvin not brave enough to be a striker. Needs to put himself about more
Randy looked a handful when he came on
Ritchie ran around for a bit
MoM ran around for a bit
Ref was vvank
10 points off top

First game I've watched this season other than highlights, and the #1 word that came to mind was "solid".

I thought the CB's were dominant in their duels and also played smart positionally - they didn't get pulled out, and they played to their strengths; great in the air, physically strong, and experienced in lots of little moments when playing out.

The movement, quick passing, and interchanging from the front 5 in the first half was class. We absolutely bossed the first 35 minutes and were unlucky not to score a 2nd. Impressed with Kelv E - there's a lot of debate about whether he is better advanced out wide or playing through the middle, and I'm not sure, but that was a good lone striker performance - he bullied at times, he laid off well, he made great runs, and he created a lot of space for the rest of the front 5.

The slight negative was that in the 2nd half it felt like that if Stevenage really put a good move together, we would concede - the performance levels dropped a bit. However Stevenage never quite did; that's how it goes. Pereira is a quality keeper - at this level, you feel that when he is in goal, the opposition has to put together a really good move to score. They didn't, and he saved everything that he had a right to save. The only chance I would never expect him to save was the back pass (so a mistake) that their striker hit off the bar - we got lucky there.

I think we deserved to win - shame we couldn't go 2 up when we were on top, but job done.

Strange game. Couldn't believe how poor S'age were in first half.

Plusses
Enjoyed Wing playing further forward.
Kyerewaa's best game of the season (out of those I've been to anyway)
Pereira excellent when needed
The two centre backs look excellent
Williams (R) looked handy when he came on
Abrefa fine for 85 minutes
20 minutes to get home from final whistle

Minuseses
Abrefa not very good at all for the other minutes
Didn't catch the attendance figure but it was empty
Doyle looked off it, maybe he should switch to a lower tar. On that ev, I'd like Rino to sign ASAP

Pereira dog shit distribution. Thank goodness he’s a good shot stopper.

Thank you Abrefa for giving me a near heart attack, how the guy didn`t score is beyond me. however if that centre back pairing of Des and Williams stay fit we`re picking up plenty of wins this team.
Still a few rough edges for LR to sort out but delighted with the win.
A word for DK, I thought he was outstanding tonight, strange how the ref couldn`t tell him from Dorsett.
