WestYorksRoyal Serious pressure on Derby tomorrow now with a winnable home game. Let's see how they handle it. Points in the bank >>>>> games in hand.

I think this is their most pressured game of the season so far tonight.
So far I think they have felt they have had nothing to play for and had no expectations. But Saturday was a real chance for them (though we won) to pile pressure on us but they huffed and puffed against Peterborough.
Now they have lost Lawrence for 3 games and it's a must win for them to avoid a bigger gap opening.

windermereROYAL You missed out Blackburn at home after Bournemouth, 3 horrendous games in a row there.

Thanks. However we should remember two of those are at home, anything could happen!

Nope try again, Forest and Bournemouth away then Blackburn at home.

So whilst we have Forest (a), Bournemouth (a), Blackburn (H) in a tough week between 12th and 19th March.

Derby have Bournemouth (a), Blackburn (a), Coventry (H).

Pretty equally tough week.

Derby have a rearranged game v Cardiff (a) on 1st March as well, so will be interesting to see what the gap is once they've played that extra game.

Interesting* point.

After tonight - 5 of Derby's next 6 games are away. They only have 2 wins on the road this year.

Heading in to a run like that, they will likely really need a win tonight else we *could* widen the gap to almost be uncatchable - if we can maintain moderate form.

I know Blackburn are near the top but they’ve been pretty wretched since new year. 2 wins in 9, knocked out the cup by Wigan and Brereton went off injured in their last game

More than winnable. Bournemouth and Forest obvs tough but could see us getting something at one of them

windermereROYAL Millwall`s recent away form is naff, including defeats at Hull and posh, lost 5 of the last 6. but won at Coventry, let`s hope that teams turns up tomorrow.

And then that the other turns up at the Madejski next Saturday.

It could quite easily be Hull that get pulled under this season with the way they are going. As soon as they changed their manager I wondered if it would start to go wrong for them, although I did think they had enough points to steer clear. Now with us only being 5 points behind them, if we can close that gap to a couple of points in the next 2-3 games, I think they could be the team that Derby are trying to catch.

I'm not trying to get ahead of myself though yet, last nights win guarantee's nothing on Saturday but it's certainly a game where we can look at that and believe we can come away with a positive result.

They were acting as if their new manager was some sort of god 24 hours ago now he’s suddenly not good enough. I was in disbelief at how they didn’t think that sacking a manager who had them playing their best football in years was a bad idea

I must say I'm not surprised it seems to be backfiring on them, although I didn't actually think they were that good to begin with. They've had 2 good spells in and around October/November and then before McCann was sacked and that's about it, all the other times they've been pretty poor in general really.

Despite West Brom being 11th Paddy Power still has them at 6/4 to get into the Play Offs, 5/1 2nd favorites to win the Play Offs, and 5/1 to get promoted!

Brogue Grant McCann appointed new Peterborough boss.

And his first game will at home to the club that fired him.

Second time he has been manager there. He and Ferguson must have a job share going on.
