If I was him I'd go.
May do him the world of good.

Good luck to him if he goes.
Wolves could be the team to cheer in next year's premiership!

I hope we can keep him. He is due another good season.

im happy for him to go. should get a decent fee for him
would let karacan come into the first team with marek.
harps has served the club well and should be allowed to leave for a prem team.

Amen brother exactly my thoughts- this would be a fantastic bit of business for us. Now just for Shunt to go and we're looking very good

Mr Angry What is it with Wolves and our 106 squad??

Do you think they might decide that Kitson is worth a punt?

And Shorey?

Oh, and they are also thinking of a slight change to their home strip.......blue and white hoops.

if i were a wolves fan i would be more concerned about readings 36 squad

YateleyRoyal Aside from the other stuff, I'll be sad to see Harps go, however he is a shadow of the player he was alongside Sidwell. If those two ever reunite I think they'll both get back to their best - whether that's Premiership or Championship

I totally agree with this. They complemented each other wonderfully and I don't think that it is a coincidence that neither have been pulling up many trees since the partnership was broken up.

I would be very sorry if Harps left. I think that he has a lot to offer especially to the youngsters coming through. Even Ajax in the 90s had a reasonable sprinkling of experience to go with the fearlessness of youth. Van Breukelen, Litmanen, de Boer twins. We have at the moment Harps, Gunnarsson, errrrr...

My major criticism of SSC over the last 2 seasons was that there was no plan B. What is plan B if Harper leaves? 4-3-3 is the "preferred" option but what if it doesn't work? We know from the last season and a half that Marek has flattered to deceive. I suppose that only time will tell but I would be happier knowing that we still had The Hood

Seems genarally Harper is considered a good player(I definately rated him in your championship season) by the majority but also a sizable number feel he passed his best? still its one way of getting promoted eh? :D

What I know about the last season and a half is that Marek is the best footballer at the club and that we should have used a system that allowed his talent to flourish.

He shouldn't be past his best at 28 but he does need a fresh challenge. Harps is one of my favourite Reading players of all time. He has a great attitude and plays the game with a smile on his face.
He does have plenty of critics amongst Reading supporters partly because he doesn't get stuck in, likes to point and has a penchant for passing like Ray Wilkins...but for those of us that rate him he has been a brilliant foil to Steve Sidwell during our successful seasons, scored some crucial goals with trademark late runs into the box and was the link between defence and attack.
If he does join you good luck to him. Most Reading fans will appreciate his time at the club.

I will be delighted if Marek delivers and that BR is able to get the best out of him. He must be good to play regularly for the Czech Republic apart from when he is suspended obviously

He's a mood player and not really a leader. He flourishes best when his role is to oil a really good machine, which is why he was so unostentatiously effective in the championship season. Between Doyle and Harper, though, you'd better have some beef, because they won't be providing it.

He'll be the fittest player on your team bar none. Fantastic engine.

Wish Harper all the best and I'll be very sad to see him go. I think he could have really flourished again under Rodgers and in this system.

The joke is on his knockers though, because he'll be playing in the Premiership again, for at least two more seasons.

Ahh it all makes sense now, thats why we spent 2 million on mills. Back to 6.5 million + and getting rid of one of the best and most loyal players this club has ever had.

I remember Feyenoord sniffing around a few years back and Harps said NO! He also said that playing abroad was something he wanted to do but later in his career. I also remember Pardew giving him a bollocking for overdoing the training when he should have been resting up! And to think thta there are many more than happy to get rid of him. Be careful what you wish for.

Yes, I've made my feelings known on Wolves. I think they, and possibly Burnley will be avoiding relegation at least once.

We'll see I guess, but I can't see it with Harper in the middle for them.

Not convinced the Dingles will stay up. Wolves should be ok and Brum? Don't care really!
