'We should of beat Derby 8-0 on the last day of the season...'

ZacNaloen Create the chances and the strikers will score. This just proves it.

Tabb, Howard, Karacan our best midfield by a mile.

Pretty much our ONLY midfield! As much as getting Tabb back in the side is a very good thing, the squad still lacks something in there.

As for the forwards taking chances, only one of the goals was actually from a forward, and he wasn't actually playing upfront at the time was he?

It's called an opinion.

I'm enjoying the win from afar thanks, but it doesn't change my view on our deficience and pointing them out after a win is just as credible as after a loss, especially as so many jump to say it's a 'knee jerk reaction' or 'just one bad result' if posters dare point out an area of improvement.

How many games did Bodgers win at Reading? How many has BMcD won? If you are so brilliant, how come you are not in football management?

He won one last weekend.

I'm not even being funny, I could do a better job, at least I could f*cking count to 7 and tell that a striker who hasn't scored a goal from open play in 6 months shouldn't be in the team.

Oh dear.

prostak At the game. I'd be suprised if we held on to this. Also if both teams finish with 11. .

One out of two predictions isn't bad and at least it was the right way around!! :D

Couldn't be happier to be wrong, aye.

That's rather a wide definition Zac (forwards)-people have bemoaned our strikers and not wingers who I do believe have actually outscored the strikers.
Church has now scored 2 goals in open play and Shane and Hunt none.
Whether that matters in the end is another issue.

We stopped playing with wing and inside forwards in the early 50s!!!

We still haven't had one of our 'strikers' (as you apparently want to call them) score from open play so I don't see that the situation has changed much.

Want to tell Barcelona? Or do you mean just Reading by 'we'?

I was generally being facetious, but when I say forwards I don't mean the likes of McAnuff or Kebe, and I don't think that's what Zac meant by strikers either.

Not sure what the confused look is for, just refering to not playing 2-3-5 anymore.

I knew exactly what you meant, and I didn't call either of those two strikers either.

The two wider players whoever they are, clearly are bring utilised as wing forwards.

Church and long are the two strikers I was referring

Still here, surprising result although papering over the cracks won't do us any good long term. Still going nowhere, Long still can't score from open play. Swansea won again today btw...pity we couldn't last Saturday or Tuesday.
