My choice would be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Doing great work over in Norway with Molde and his contacts and time under SAF would only make him a better choice. He would jump at the chance to Manage a premier league even if its for 9 games.

As long as its NOT Di Canio and few other familiar names who always have their names in the hat I will be happy. Di Canio will bring trouble and the usual's are no better than McDermott.

I will support whoever comes in.

Denver Royal Zola

Why the hell would he want to join us? His current club are quite likely to be swapping places with us and their partnership is already up and running in a really productive manner.

Eammon Dolan for the rest of the season for me. Rocking a sinking ship, only makes it sink faster - at least Dolan is someone with whom the players have some form of relationship.

But Zingarevich is a nutjob - so doing things the way they should be done, will hold no water with him, and he'll appoint some big time charlie, who will over commit the club, just in time for Zingarevich to oxf*rd off and leave the good ship Royal, to sink without a trace.

Great move Anton - thanks a bunch.

Looking at the list it probably should be Adkins, he did not do that bad, and would want to show that he can do it again having got promotion once from the Championship.

Otherwise i reckon a sneaky move for Solksjaer with Giggs as assistant would be great.

I voted Adkins. Him or RDM would be great.

But we will have Dolan until the end of the year. Not unhappy with that either.

In fantasy land, Dick Advocaat. In reality, Nigel Adkins. As for Di Canio, I'm surprised he's had so many votes. I'd be very disappointed if he got him.

Albsolute stupid poll options. Half of those would not come here.

the way itls looking at the moment is a striaght choice between Adkins and Dolan. I think it will be Dolan until the end of the season giving Adkins time to sort out his shit with Southampton before taking over in the summer.

There is apparently no short list drawn up but they want to talk to Adkins.

So Its Eamon Dolan's turn until Adkins sorts out his unfair dismissal claim.

If Adkins does not fancy it, and he may well have better offers, then it will be Dick Advocaat if he fails to win the Dutch league.
If Dick Advocaat does not fancy it or he manages to win the Dutch league then get ready for Eamon Dolan to be given a chance next season.

Derek Adams. On the smallest budget has taken Ross County from league one to third in the SPL. Even beat Celtic after being 2 down at the weekend.

Someone has already mentioned that his case with Saints doesn't impact his ability to work elsewhere so I don't think it's an issue.

I posted this else where but Ive been thinking about this and honestly has Adkins got any more balls than BM? We need some with a bit of balls and can kick the players arses now and again

Ahh the McClaren/Capello/Hodgson Paradox. "He's too matey with the players we need someone who'll discipline them".

Looking forward to the "He's too strict with the players we need someone who understands them." part of the equation in a year or so.

Why on earth would people want Advocaat he will run our club into the ground!

I'd of quite liked to see Graeme Souness I think he would be the ideal type of guy for this situation or even Walter Smith.

Do rate a lot of the Scottish managers (except McCleish)
