Avon Royal
Once were Biscuitmen This is exactly the same sort of inane, economically unaware, dribble spouted at SJM for so many years from idiots who have played too much Football Manager with Sky Sports News on in the background.

“Where have the TV millions gone?”

“I’ve been conned into buying a season ticket.”

“This is the worst Reading side of all time.”

“No ambition.”
.

Just out of interest, what were the fans of teams like West Brom, Swansea, Norwich, Sunderland, Southampton, West Ham saying as they established themselves in the premier league while we arrogantly pissed about trying to do everything on the cheap as if the laws of football economics didn't apply to us?

West Brom - The very definition of a yo-yo club, gradually building themselves up over many years.

Sunderland - Are going to get relegated this season, will sack the fascist mid-season. If the owners don't suck up the debt they could end up in league one.

Southampton - Are owned by a freaking trust fund like some sort of orphaned Billionaire so don’t really have to worry about the whole breaking even thing.

West Ham - Lucked out by all of us building a massive stadium for them at tax payer’s expense. Subsidized by owners in the interim.

Swansea – Again a well run business- flowing a flirtation with oblivion- with the foot balling foundations firmly established in the 2nd tier prior to promotion. Also again the local council built them a stadium.

Fair post. Anton has put himself in the same situation as the last two windows and now doesn't have BM to hide behind.

I actually forgot that Anton blamed BM for the lack of purchases.

I fukkin haven't

Me neither! Why should Adkins be any less to blame than McDermott for lack of transfer activity and when is Adkins likely to have to sell his best players (as opposed to those who don't want to play for him) to fill any financial black holes :|

McDermott and SJM looking like ever bigger losses by the hour and Anton a potential prize winner at the "Those Who Got It Wrong In 2012" awards

I've got nothing against insects, six legs is fair enough. It's those fucking stuck up arachnid bastards that wind me up.

Once were Biscuitmen Yes, how dare the owner not give us more of his money to subsidise an even greater loss for the business...

Whooooah, £5m for Mapps and Kebe. That's in Samuel's pocket behind cleaned as we speak.

Competitive transfer market with plenty of bigger fish than Reading. And you're all shocked you struggle to get some of your 'targets'.

I just thank god our eyes are better than theirs and a respiratory system capable if supporting larger bodies, or we would never hear the end if it

'greed. And what about octopuses with their supercilious sneers, their eight legs and their football related prescience?

I think that the only surprising thing is how little backlash there has been so far. I think most of is are still waiting for the press conference which will announce that we did after all sign 3 players ahead of the deadline - and I really hope that this still comes.

If not I think the fans have very right to be furious.

We have been told we are buying 7 new players. We have released/sold/loaned out for the season 10 of our first team squad savings millions in salaries. We have received between 4-5M for Kebe and Mariappa and spent just 700K on Williams.

Adkins has often made comments about strengthening different positions and not using the loan market etc, so it is completely understandable that fans feel misled. There is still time and actually I would prefer now that we did not squander money on the likes of Sissoko - a player that would probably turn out to be another Pog. I think it is better to use our Academy products to fill the gaps and accept mid table obscurity this season now - unless Adkins proves to be an equally brilliant miracle worker to Brian.

But the facts are that the likes of Wigan and QPR have spent a great deal of money and we have not. Our squad is appreciably weaker than it was last summer, whereas they are arguably stronger.

I think the club does owe us all an explanation.

As an inane , economically unaware, dribbling idiot, I would rather like to see some convincing replies to the above. Lets start with the dosh for Kebe..come on. Indulge me.

I still blame "McDonut" for the lack of transfer activity. All these billions in the bank and still the Leeds manager is stopping us spending it! Also he apparently hated scouting, which has left saviour Adkins with nothing but a bunch of useless hoofball players and no list of replacements.

At least Anton is trying to use his billions to tempt players I have heard of to join us, so I can boast to other fans of Premier league franchises that we are just as big.

All you whinging about Anton have a look at SJM. He's the one who sold out to him and lined his own pocket thanks very much. I notice he has said fcuk all again lately. Probably sat up last night laughing his cods off over a bottle of some expensive champagne until he inevitably passed out on his luxury shag pile !
