rhroyal Tbh I know very little about this player. One thing I do know for sure, is that CB/CDM is no longer a priority position. CAM please; Sunzu lower priority.

Agree a CAM would be good

Sunzu four days to finalize his transfer to Reading
The Zambian national team é did draw (0-0) with Norv è ge Saturday Ndola. This Sunday, the Chipolopolo are heading to South Africa for the CAN 2013. F é lix Sunzu STOPPILA not take the m Even vol. E of the great central defender moved to London and find his teammates as co é Friday.

It is precisely in Reading, 50 kilometers west of the British capital that Sunzu will spend four days to undergo physical and medical tests. Except against time and last time, to sign his contract.

President Moses Katumbi we confirmed yesterday: "Indeed, Sunzu hand in Reading test with the agreement of TP Mazembe and that of the F é d é ration Zambia. Brilliant, but I can't help but think if this goes through then it means Pearce is going. It's that or we will use Godzilla as a CDM, but that's three we'll have brought in this window.

I think he'll be played as a CB... just because I can't see the logic in bringing in 3 CDM.
I also think Pearce will sign a new contract... Morrison out? Unlikely.

Gorkss to be allowed to leave, perhaps (if Sunzu and Pearce sign).

He better not be off. He is going to be massive for us next season. Of all our centre-backs I think if you give him a full season in the first team I think we'll lose him to a big transfer fee. He's got the lot, he just needs time.

Good point. I'd forgotten all about him. Yes most certainly then if Sunzu does come. But I still can't see how we can keep Pearce(?), Mariappa, Morro and Sunzu all happy.

No but Kelly can and Mariappa can play right back. Guess we could see

Kelly -- Sunzu -- Pearce -- Mariappa
----------- Federici ------------

Although on paper you'd be playing two of your back four in the wrong positions.

Don't expect to see Sunzu in the team in a hurry, if he does sign. He will be off to this African Cup of Nations / Nations of Africa Cup / Cup of African Nations, whatever it is called.

I heard from a good source that Pearce isn't going to sign anything.

If Pearce is going to play hardball, oxf*rd him. Mariappa, Morrison and Sunzu would give us good options anyway. If Pearce wants more than 15-20k a week we are right to not give him that.

Pearce must be more valuable to us than Sunzu or Carrico, so we should offer to pay him the same.

I'd rather we gave in to Pearce's wage demands rather than sign a new defender. I wouldn't normally say that but Pearce is so essential for us.

It's not only that, Pearce is tried and tested, any other non premier league signings are a gamble.
