Explain why? Or are you just basing your view on one excellent performance as a player.

Incidentally leadership doesn't just equal leading by example, there's a lot more to it.

actually leadership and management depends on the individual needs, characteristics and style of the leader, and the leadee.

a leader can just lead by example if that is their style.
and a leadee may benefit from being bawled out, if that is what they require to learn and improve.

A balanced poll would have included a "find a twat from Woodley and give it to him" option.

WoodleyRoyal Yey or Nay

I have no reason to vote "nay". Are people still vexed about the bird flipping incident?

Tails Give him 3 years and he'll be the man you guys demand from him.

Agreed. He does infuriate me though, as mentioned earlier, he's got a lot of potential but makes some very basic errors at times. And then he goes and puts in a performance at Everton and proves he could be so much better. I know he's still fairly young in terms of a CB, but he really shouldn't be making the type of mistake he does as often as he does. I'm glad he's here though and playing.

I'd have to say though, if we manage to sign Leigertwood (though why QPR would want to let him go is beyond me), then I'd pick him over Mills as captain.

I think Mills's captaincy is in the same vein as Michael Caine in Escape to Victory
