as well as putting himself around a lot in midfield Tabb is the best central attacking midfield option we have - one of the big and effective changes at Bristol was him going forward behind the front two.

Not really seen much evidence of Tabb's attacking contribution in many games tbh.

Just the last couple of matches ... but note I used present tense when I said he's the best we have. We do have a glaring shortage of a central attacking midfielder.

He offers absolutely zero goal threat himself, but he has been involved in the build up to three goals since he came back into the starting 11, which is three more than Leigertwood has managed this season iirc. He certainly drives forward more than Legs and I'd say from the bits I've seen his passing is has been significantly better.

If Legs was playing anything like he was last season we'd be doing a hell of a lot better, scoring more and conceeding fewer.
