Behindu Did anyone else see the word 'partition' and assume it meant Spacey sleeps in a dormitory ?

Looking at his post count, it's hard to believe he actually has managed to hold down a job that would require a partition

But to be fair to him he obviously has, which probably puts him one up on the rest of us...
I don't even have an office !!

It's not so much of a wall, it's only a bit that separates two desks put together so I and the other desk user don't have to look at each other. HTEMC (Hope That Explains My Comment). ;)

I thought it would save you the time of making up excuses so you could stick up for the players and club.

Interesting you see fit to take snipes at Owen and Beckham, but they've got to where they are through hard work and dedication. Not loafing around and taking it easy. I'd rather have players that can play football to a high level even if they all say the same thing, than someone like Kitson who does it for 5 games a season and comes out with things like this.

5 games a season?

Bloody hell he's the best striker in the world if he can play 5 games a season and score 22 goals.

we didn't sell him he moved when he could get a better deal because Pardew shafted him with only a 1 year contract offer, and kept playing him on the bench.

Kitson has been susceptible to injury in the past and claims to be ambitious.

Seems like a more professional approach to training could only help

I "know that my body" is crap at getting up in the morning but it would not improve my career to lie in.

Professionals seek out the best advice and act on it.

zac naloen
PistolPete Harper eats a fried breakfast, Kitson hates wasting energy on training - the point is each player knows his own body.

I hate waming up; when players pull muscles it's very rarely at the begining of a match which proves warming up is overrated! The manager of my team gets really annoyed with me saying i'm wrong, but hey, as I said, we all know our own bodies...

There was just a study that suggests warming up has little impact on whether you get a muscle injury or not.

;)

Any chance you could point me in the way of that study? Could make great reading for my team manager (and RoyalBlue who seems less than impressed with my suggestion!)

As a professional sportsman myself, I have always said that a good warm up means 'do what you are going to do, but smaller' So for me 2 mins of simple passing, jogging and the odd sprint is fine. The ridiculous static stretching is a joke in my opinion, which I have always found to do more damage than good. Warm down stretching I am intrigued with though...

A message to Mr Kitson.

Judging by the amount of running you put in today I suggest you listen to the new sports scientist and put some extra sessions in this week.

Yeah, because Kitson running about some more would have stopped our defence leaking so many goals.
