Ive seen Mark White v York, Doyle v Sheff Utd and Luton and Kebe's on sat.

despite being only 12 i can clearly recall Mark White's at the town end before going on to lose.

Its quite amazing how often teams go on to draw or lose when they score in the 1st min, must be something in that. Psycologically its a false sense of security.

quick search on the Prem and league matches this season.

Teams have scored in the 1st min on 12 occasions. only 3 have won. more have gone on to lose than win.

I could search more, but its just a wierd statistical fact that.

In (rubbish) support of the assertion I can remember us winning a few games 3-1 after going 1-0 down in the first few minutes in my first full season or two at EP. Got to the point where I was certain that if we conceeded in the first 10 minutes we'd win 3-1.

A quick scan shows Luton, Huddersfield, West Brom & Gillingham all finishing 3-1 to us in 95/96

Although Huddersfield we went ahead on 15 apparently.
