Clearly didn't see anything of Reading last season...

andrew1957 It is rather a sad indictment of what the club has become that all we can do is celebrate not losing anyone when most of our competitors have strengthened.

FridaysGhost FACT:- Cardiff made a bid for ALF and it was rejected. This does not obscure the fact that RFC have, once again, failed in a Transfer Window. Clubs with vast debts can strengthen their squads whilst we (assured by our Chairman that funds were available) cannot. Long live the 'Reading Way'.

MmmMonsterMunch Sensible, decent & intelligent you say?
So you think the club should get into more debt just to please rabid supporters like yourself? The current playing staff are doing very well & they deserve their chance. If anything this lack of activity gives the club & playing staff a bit more stability. Everyone can shut up moaning & focus on getting behind the team.
Running the club prudently will probably stand us in good stead if A N Other investor does come along as well.
Have you also forgotten we are trying to buy a new training facility & we've just upgraded to a Cat A academy? Or do you genuinely think money grows on trees?

A well written, decent response. I may agree with your analysis or disagree but my post was to do with your bile. What have you got against myself and other decent contributors who simply are'nt part of a clique? I'd love to know where the stupid abuse comes from?

Saying go away hardly amounts to abuse. Perhaps if you didn't talk such sh1t people might take you seriously.

MmmMonsterMunch What are you right on? That Rhodes would be a good buy in this league?
No sh1t Sherlock - so would Juan Mata. Doesn't mean we can afford him though.

FridaysGhost I've been right about everything provable and, others will know, the unprovable (such as buying Rhodes, not keeping Roberts) mostly fall down on my side. Is it the fact that I'm normally right that upsets you so?

It's not FridaysGhost that is the problem.
It's people quoting him.
Please refrain.
