Ian Royal Sorry, what is relevant about the average age of people in the actim index now or at the end of the season? And what does it have to do with Mills playing well below his ability and having a ropey temperament?
Age and maturity Ian.
The vast majority of footballers peak after the age of 26-27, centre-backs even later.
The average age of The Actim Index Top 100 Players is six weeks short of 27. ie They will be 27 in January, February, March, April, May
I used that Index as a rough example of "How old the best players are"
Great 20-21 year olds are a very small percentage of the footballing world
