It's the pressure

Play a team that is expected to beat you and the pressure is off

Play a team everyone expects you to beat, or that you need to beat, the pressure is on

I'm not sure why Reading are particularly poor at dealing with pressure but we've been like this for some time now

Ian Royal It's more about space on the pitch and being able to catch teams without their defensive lines set.

I think it's more about making excuses .... we just suck.

Negative as I'm feeling at the moment, we really can't blame anyone for Blackman's departure except Blackman.

Sa's off surely, if Cox had a run out ahead of him.

Woeful result.

Shoutout to Vydra for making a really good tackle in the middle of the pitch. Worth every penny.

Though tbf Vydra's howler had nothing on the ref's.
The straightest red card you've ever seen and he completely bottled it.

Now closer to relegation than play-offs. Thought it was worrying under Clarke but it seems we are back to relying on players like Cox who couldn't even get a game for Bristol city. Back to the old days of jobs for the boys and the Madjeski Reading way

Strange that he still picks him for the bench though?? If he couldn't get onto today he must have done something pretty dreadful to MacDermot
