WestYorksRoyal O'Connor and Williams are good L1 defenders at the peak of their career and we look solid. But you also see their limits in possession. Doncaster are keeping their shape and letting them have it, and there is no threat. Whereas Bindon and Mbengue could start moves to open up defences.

Big open space in front of Williams towards the end of the half. Mbengue would've run into that space, Williams plays a long pass.

I saw one head tennis end with it coming to O'Connor in acres of space, and he just headed it back into a congested midfield for everyone to scrap for. Bindon would have brought it down.

Scrappy old game.
Bang it long. Is Branfoot back in charge? At least then we had Senior and Horrix up top.

Yes it seems pretty dull at best. Really need something better than this from Reading. Speed and accuracy would be a couple of good signings.

Noel thrill puntball!

Really struggling to think of a more boring era of football at Reading than the last 4 months

I do remember one season where we consistently conceded just after HT.
There were posters defending that nonsense.

Was that under Clement? Rings a bell, just can’t remember which useless manager it was

Referee is dreadful. Blowing on every nothing situation. Really helping Donny' s disruption and timewasting.
