Sheffield - Did Convey have a good game?

by AbovetheI » 17 Sep 2006 21:43

Was he up to his standard from last year? I've seen him a couple of times and he seemed to lack confidence this season, but did yesterday do the trick for him? Maybe someone who went yesterday could put my mind at rest.

Cheers.

Good ball to Doyle for the first goal but IMO still hasn't got his form of last season back.

He looked OK when he started coming inside.

I think he'll be fine once he gets a couple of games under his belt. He is looking rusty and not seeing much of the ball. He needs to improve when he doesn't have possesion as he looks lightweight in trying to win it back.

He has the ability to play at this level, of that there is no doubt. He has just started slowly, no need to panic. A goal will do him the world of good.

Spot on.

Convey is a confidence player, one goal will open the floodgates.

I thought Convey was excellent yesterday, great pass for the 1st goal and saw plenty of ball in the 1st half. 2nd half was different with us under pressure but certainly the best game for him this season.

Thought he had a decent game and played an amazing ball to Doyle for the first goal.

Im a very big fan of convey but at sheffield he didnt rilly stand out in the game. he played a good ball to doyle for the first goal but after that he seemed to just run himself into trouble when there was no need to. :) Man of the match: Iver Ingimarsson. Last year i thought he was the week link but this season hes been the best player
