RoyalChicagoFC Per the Fixtures and Results link on the main page, the match remains scheduled for today, Tuesday 15/9
I thought I'd missed the first 85 minutes LOLz
Serves me right in any case, I suppose

Yep thought it was today due to that. But there was that big thread about Cardiff being on a Weds n' all.

And here's me trusting the fixtures list on the main page and never looking @ The Team board except on matchdays, more or less
This place urgently requires an enema --on that much we all might agree

RoyalChicagoFC Well yeah. I mean, we knew they were gonna be middling at best going in, and no point spending the money to upgrade right now just to come out atop this crummy division and then go on to get clobbered in the playoffs by a side miles better.
Starting rotation's looking very solid thru '11 with Buehrle, Peavy, Floyd, Danks and whoever slots into the fifth man role. Kids Beckham and Getz looking sharp in the infield; Thome out the door on a waivers deal, and Dye to follow at season's end when they buy out the $12-mill mutual option for next year at a cost of a million bucks, and then only one more year of Konerko's $12-million albatross and so rid of him --scads of cash to go shopping for free agents over the coming winter, really, and it looks like half the Angels' 25-man roster'll be on the market.
Much to like; need good glove guys and some --any-- baserunning ability, and a little more bullpen is never a bad thing.
