making ground bigger a good idea ?

by sonkoissuperman » 08 Feb 2007 18:52

A question that has been floating around my mind since the recent news of the expansion plans for the ground is will we actually be able to fill 38,000 seats at most games ? i'm not so sure, and what scares me more is what the consequences of such a finanical commitment in the years to come ? what if we do a west ham or wigan

well we're expanding gradually arent we? so it will be 30,000 to begin with and im sure the club will assess it from there.

personally, i have no doubts we'll fill it for the arsenals, man u's and liverpools but i think we'll struggle to get more than 25,000 for the rest of the prem. AFAIK we havent sold our 21,000 for villa yet
