But the FA might think we are being racist to the opposition players from ethnic backgrounds other than your stereotypical Reading fan.

savage 4 england I think we should blast out some Wycombe style cheering.

Not been to Wycombe since the last time we played them, but don't they still do that stupid Native American drumming stuff when they get a corner?

Whenever we lose the ball the club should play music and all the fans should sing "defense, defense, defense".

Thinking about the early days at the mad.

Didn't the old scoreboard display 'Come on you royals' to encourage the 9500 fans to support the team during moments of excitment?

You mean the naff old ex-baseball ground scoreboard they used to have? I think it might have done, although the only thing I really remember is the egg-head ref producing a red or yellow card.

(Of course, in the real early days of the MadStad, we didn't have a scoreboard...).

I don't care what is chanted, as long as it conveys to the players that short corners are generally a waste of time

I know exactly what you're talking about. Sadly it seems only to gain any airtime away from home.

1871 Royal
shadesrwrf I'd like us to score from them.

 I remember saying that evertime we got a corner, we were really hopeless from them.

Yes, to be fair we are much better now. A couple of seasons back whenever we got a corner I'd often to turn to the chaps I go with and say "we never score from corners". And we never did.

I am not sure the views of 80 Hob Nobbers will reflect that of 20,000 fans but it seems that the majority prefer Come on you Royals.

Lets hope for loads of corners and plenty of vocal support on Saturday!

I wonder whether the Pompey bell ringer will be refused entry again. :D
