Chuckle Brother Flying from Southampton seemed like a great idea when it was booked.

Having spent 5 hours there yesterday and now sitting on my sofa, perhaps it wasn't.

ie no flights left Southampton for Newcastle yesterday afternoon or evening hence I missed the game.

Not that complicated, surely ?

Flew from there this morning CB. 2 hour delay seemed shit at the time but just glad it took off at all.

Presume the flight was full ?

Ended up deciding it wasn't worth sleeping on an airport floor on the off chance of getting on the Saturday flight.

Was a bit worse for wear by that stage and thoroughly hacked off.

Clearly if I'd know the way the result was going to go though I'd have taken my chances.

When they cancelled the last flight out on Friday at about 8pm (despite having told us to go through to the departure lounge 5 minutes previously) the train options were somewhat limited........

But yes I guess I had that comment coming.........
