Winston Biscuit The fact they just popped a little hat on him and he played footballer for an hour afterwards suggests it really wasn't much of an incident at all

Sanguine Sadly, because I really like him, I think this mini crisis is almost entirely on Slot.

South Coast Royal Sangers will know better than me but didn't Liverpool have some crazy record last season for hitting the woodwork?
Now add 3 more from Gakpo yesterday.
A few stats from yesterday:
Reds shots on target 6 , the other lot 4
Reds shots off target 11, the other lot 5
Reds corners 9, the other lot 4
Normally that would mean a home win but not yesterday when Liverpool have followed on with their fault all season so far-they miss the target too much.
Score a few more and the defensive issues become less important.
I expect Robbo to return when fully fit-Kerkez has not yet shown enough defensively -and we might even see a 3 at the back with 2 wing-backs, i.e Gomez playing on the right of the 3 with Bradley/ Frimpong on one side and Robbo/Kerkez on the left.
Just 8 games gone-the goals will come and Man Utd once again will finish below them IMHO.
Oh with no European competition and beaten in the League Cup, Man Utd treated yesterday as their cup final and surprises do happen in cup competitions but it will be interesting to see if they kick on from this.

When was the last time they were beaten 4 times in a row?
How many more defeats will the fans put up with?

Brendan Rodgers.
Plenty. He won the league last season. Unless they finish 15th, his job is safe.

I'm not so sure. He took over Klopp's team and kept the ship steady. No serious challengers last season (certainly not in the manner that you pushed City, for example). Now that he's implementing his own style, we're seeing the sort of issues you get with transition. Moyes was gone after six months or so when he took over at United. Slot has more credit in the bank, but you have a fickle fanbase used to success and playing exciting football.

Sanguine Sadly, because I really like him, I think this mini crisis is almost entirely on Slot. Signing Kerkez and Frimpong makes no sense unless you're going to switch to three at the back. Frimpong in particular is a wing-back, not a full-back. He doesn't work on the right of a four.
Ekitike has done absolutely nothing wrong, and finds himself on the bench behind Isak who has done little right so far.
Wirtz at the moment is the piece that doesn't fit. He needs to play a Salah-type role in the final third. There isn't enough space for him in a congested midfield.
And clearly Gravenberch is being asked to come and play out a bit to counter the opposition low block. But it is leaving the defence exposed to the counter attack.
Lots to work on for Slot and Liverpool.

URZZZZ Although Nuno has a lot to answer for yesterday’s shambles. Playing a RB at LB, a LB at RB and lining up with no strikers on the pitch on your home debut is not a good way to endear yourself to a rather unforgiving fan base!

Not sure about the "fickle fanbase".
As champions everybody now has an opinion but I think their regular fans are a bit disappointed but not overly concerned.
