RFCMod See the Bracknell owner merry go round takes another spin as Kayne steps down and his son Jude takes the reins

Sanguine
What's the story here? Last I looked (maybe a couple of years ago) things were turning around at Bracknell, new investment, new ground, good results. Has it gone tits up?

Royals and Racers Venturing to a new ground for me tomorrow Wessex league Div 1 Kintbury Rangers v Romsey Town. Not expecting much in the way of facilities, but they have a bar and serve Pies, Pasties and Sausage rolls i’m told.

...bit of a hidden gem (depending upon expectations)![]()
...in my view is a great little place and one where they are being sensible/prudent with future developments.
Bar is very cozy - progs usually on sale in there and poss even badges I think? I went back earlier this season - just before Xmas.
Very friendly club staff - tea and cake stall in the bar too.
Car Park is a tad small but there are often spaces in the Village Hall (Jubilee Centre) bit back by the road.
Often used to go very late in the season - was run by the Angell 'dynasty' and I think the Alleyne family (RIP Andy) provided a few players too, before they sank into the County Leagues for a spell.
They still need to put some seats in too, for grading, by the end of the season. I was told due to arrive sometime in March, when I visited.
Dundas Arms back by the canal/rail crossing isn't too shabby tho more of an eatery - tho I'm sure there are could be one or two other boozers in the village (Blue Ball) also probably a bit 'foody'?
Enjoy - not sure where I'm 'targeting' this midweek - nowhere new - poss somewhere in the CCL.
There are choices Tue/Wed/Thu this week if a) cba-ness doesn't kick in...... and b) my car doesn't go missing again ..... I've had words with my 'first-born'
