Shoddy first half in the United game to say the least.

I know what you mean, they've lost more games this season than I've had hot dinners..

Yep enjoyed that - they've been the only English team I've watched in the CL this year, as it's a bit different and more interesting to watch a team in their first attempt rather than the mind numbing procession of the usual suspects through the groups.

Spurs are so wide open that there are guaranteed goals in their European games so will be well worth watching.

Incidently I dont think I've seen an individual demonstrate the "game of 2 halves" cliche more than Tom Huddlestone did last night. He was complete and utter gash in the 1st half and simply majestic in the 2nd, especially after the sending off. Just wish he could find some level of consistency because when he's on he's as good as anyone to watch.

TBH, he was lucky to still be on the pitch himself after flinging his elbow in the face of the Twente player.

The SPLOLOL currently ahead of valencia, level with with Man UTD 8)

Not bad for a team no one would give 1 point too.

Rangers game was good- watched it at London Branch Supporter's Club. Dicey at times but three points deserved. If they can just pull off another win then good chance they'll be through to next round. The result at Man U was brilliant as well. Who'd have thought from a club, to quote When Saturday Comes, "have made just one big-money signing in the last two years – and he's cup-tied for Europe. Wayne Rooney's transfer would fetch the kind of money which could buy everyone at Rangers, including the cleaners and burger bar staff, and Ibrox stadium itself. For us to hold the third-biggest club on the planet, on their own patch, is a freakin' miracle."

Come on the 'gers!

Looks like a base that the baddies from GI Joe would use.

Ark Royal Rangers 1 up against Bursaspor, who must have the coolest stadium design ever. Not surprisingly they are nicknamed 'The Green Crocodiles'.

Maguire Spurs game was pretty good :-)

Watched the highlights on ITV without knowing the score, it was fairly clear early doors Van Der Vaart was going to get sent off. Does anyone know if he's got previous with FC Twente?

No Fixed Abode Chelsea 4 - 1 Spartak

Took my old boy last night and sat in the Matthew Harding stand which was lucky considering how poor the first half was. Chelsea turned it on a bit after the break and we had a great view of the goals. Props to Anelka for scoring from that angle, too.
