genome I'd imagine Wilson will probably be on a fair chunk. Nowhere near Pogrebnyak, granted, but there's not much point in comparing them to Reading who are recovering from a serious ownership issue where bad decisions were made. Bournemouth's owners have invested and invested well, it's definitely not a shoestring budget.

Silver Fox Now I don't really understand FFP (like everyone else in the world) but how can they sustain that level of spending when they have such small attendances?

No Fixed Abode So Bournemouth spend out on transfer fees but pay lower wages.

TBM The thing is, our high way players came from our Premier League season so is obviously going to be more.
Bournemouth won't survive in the Premier next season keeping the squad they've got - they need to invest heavily in the summer, which is a risk and if it doesn't pay off then they will be in the position we are in now (more or less).

OK - I'm willing to stick my neck out on this.
I'd say that with one or two signings they'll be OK unless they get injuries - I think their squad will have reasonable quality but no depth.
I saw them totally dismantle Bolton last night without really raising a sweat. They will give most lower prem clubs more than a game at home next season.

Still, what an achievement by such a 'little club'.
