I'd imagine Wilson will probably be on a fair chunk. Nowhere near Pogrebnyak, granted, but there's not much point in comparing them to Reading who are recovering from a serious ownership issue where bad decisions were made. Bournemouth's owners have invested and invested well, it's definitely not a shoestring budget.

Watford champions
Rotherham will beat us tonight to releg8 Wigan and Millwall.

Hoping for Preston to come up in second as my inlaws are all from the Preston area so will be an easy one to get to next season for me.
Anyone but MK Dons through the playoffs.

Burton play Shrewsbury on Saturday in a title decider. Hopefully the mighty Shrews will win that one!

The thing is, our high way players came from our Premier League season so is obviously going to be more.

Bournemouth won't survive in the Premier next season keeping the squad they've got - they need to invest heavily in the summer, which is a risk and if it doesn't pay off then they will be in the position we are in now (more or less).

Bournemouth spent the 4th most on transfers in the division based over the last 3 transfer windows.

they spent £7.38M, Forest spent £17.02M, Middlesbrough spent £12.54M and Leeds spent £8.39M.

Bournemouth were also the biggest spenders in League One when they got promoted making a loss of £15.3M.

Now I don't really understand FFP (like everyone else in the world) but how can they sustain that level of spending when they have such small attendances?

The season Bournemouth went up from League 1 they had an £11M wage bill, an increase of more than £7M from the previous season.

So Bournemouth spend out on transfer fees but pay lower wages. Reading don't pay out on transfer fees but pay higher wages.

Still, what an achievement by such a 'little club'.

OK - I'm willing to stick my neck out on this.

I'd say that with one or two signings they'll be OK unless they get injuries - I think their squad will have reasonable quality but no depth.

I saw them totally dismantle Bolton last night without really raising a sweat. They will give most lower prem clubs more than a game at home next season.

Yeah, I think they'll be okay with the way they play, perhaps buy a midfielder with proven Prem experience and a quality centre back.

Look at Leicester last season - now look how they are struggling....ok they've picked up recently but its still touch and go if they're stay in the division.

Fair enough. Time will tell.

I'm usually wrong (see any prediction thread!)

Bournemouth look to be a team playing more on confidence rather than outright quality.
Unless they can improve the quality, a small run of losses will knock the confidence out of them

tell you what, when they get to play Chelsea, my heart might everso slightly favour those plucky Cherries.
