Boris Johnson was right, Liverpool really is self pity city.

Scousers are the only people that could campaign for a man proven guilty of murder while at the same time turning up at the funeral to weep and wallow.

Is there anybody in the world that you like outside of Old Trafford?
You don't even like Mancs that follow this season's likely champions and the inferiority complex that you show about all things Liverpool is pathetic in the extreme.
You haven't forgotten that Man Utd's Shrek is a scouser have you?

No Fixed Abode Not only is it the club that have shown themselves up but the majority of supporters too.

If you mention the Suarez racism g8. Then they come back with "What about John Terry?"

If you mention Heysel - then they go quiet, or it was the stadiums fault.

If you mention Michael Shields - well he was always innocent, just because he's a Liverpool fan.

If you mention thousands of their fans who travelled to Hillsbrough without tickets were partly to blame for the Hillsbrough disaster - then you're bang out of order to even suggest that.

If you mention all of the above in the same sentence, then they will only focus on the Hillsbrough comment and re-iterate how out of order you are.

Always innocent, always deflecting the blame or ignoring the truth - Liverpool FC & their fans.

Just thought I'd quote this so VM can have another read.

Fixated and sad, just like your Manc mate-a couple of pseuds who think they are a couple of dudes.
Two so-called fans who seldom go and watch their teams but feel that they need to represent them on a message board of the top team in Berkshire and slag off every other club around.
Basket cases both of you.

Liverpool come out of this looking absolutely shameful. Completely selfish, arrogant, selt-pitying, petulant, obnoxious and downright cretinous comments and actions throughout this whole affair and this view is shared by 99% of neutrals. Of course, predictably, liverpool fans who have acted like Iranians or north koreans with someone trying to attack their brain washed great empires are the only one's defending it.
I've been irked a lot by liverpool in recent years, their constant crusade to blame people for Hillsbrough is pretty sickening. None of the police who may have been incompetent would have guessed in their wildest dreams that the excess in fans would ever result in a disaster like that. Had the excess of liverpool fans not turned up and started forcing their way in, it would never have happend...they have to take some blame. You can't plead " its entirely the polices job" to manage their safety. Where is the common sense of mature humans pushing and illegally forcing their way into a packed ground? Sorry but the fans knew the ground was full and didn't couldn't care less they were jumping in without tickets. The police did a bad job in managing a heard of liverpool fans behaving with no regard for anyone's safety and yet liverpool fans want to have people arrested, charged and publicly demonised because of it. Where is the justice for the fans in heysol? They are MASSIVELY quiet when it comes to this shockingly - why aren't they campaigning to bring the fans to justice who tried charging through the gates which ended up killing innocent fans? If you think I have these views because I have some sort of affiliation with Man Utd you are wrong, I dislike them also, massively. I don't like any of the top four and quite honestly the way all the big clubs in Britain have behaved in the last few years ( rangers included) has been utterly pathetic and embarrassing.

Call it whatever you want there is many out there who share the same views...justifiably. You're a liverpool apologist..their players could run down the street with ak47's mowing everyone down and you'd probably wear a t-shirt supporting their antics the following week claiming they were brain washed by the FA.

Not at all for the past 3 seasons.
Have seen them in London in recent times including their win at Chelsea last season-ironically big-spending Chelsea then bought the goalscorer that day having earlier bought the player that tore them to ribbons previously and yet the mighty reds still beat them this season-who will Chelsea buy off them next,Suarez?

Used to travel far and wide in the 60s and 70s.but with family costs/commitments I became more of a tele fan,a bit like NFA and TMD.

I did actually go with DrH when he lived in Manchester about 8 years ago on the night that Crystal Palace knocked them out of the League Cup-how embarrassing that was,no top club should ever lose at home to Palace in the League Cup.
I suspect also that I have been to Stamford Bridge many more times than NFA including THAT semi-final v Barcelona and again v Barcelona when Figo etc were playing.
I try to avoid games involving Man Utd but I did cheer them on in 1968 when they won the European Cup.
Sadly for that club they have only ever won it 3 times, unlike a team based not very far away from them.

Again, wtf is wrong with you?

I'm a Liverpool fan, but I've written negatively about them in the past and will again. I also support Suarez being banned (look for it, it's in this thread) I just question the process and length of the ban. Not that you realise that of course, too busy frothing at the mouth and ranting about events like Hillsborough in which you weren't involved and can't possibly understand like those who went through it.

Pathetic.

Quite possibly one of the most ridiculous things you've written.

You weren't involved in the lawrence case...therefore you are not allowed an opinion on it. You weren't involved in 9/11 therefore no opinion allowed, etc

Laughable.

Hillsbrough is pretty black and white....fans forced their way into the ground/some were let in without tickets...massive catastrophy in which people died. People to blame? Both the police/security and selfish fans who charged in without tickets.

Typical messageboard assumptions...someone makes an agressive toned post they must be foaming at the mouth.

One day people will be educated on the net to understand this isn't the case. I've just got back from the gym, had a nice shower inbetween posting and some lovely fish pie..I am absolutely LIVID!!!!!!!

Not a particularly balanced opinion of Hillsborough there.

The overcrowding was caused by people being herded into two pens rather than managed into 5 which could have coped with the capacity, and the massive misjudgement to use exits as entrances.

Liverpool are a cheesybollock of a club and a ringhole of a town, but I lost someone at Hillsborough and when you look at how it was managed, like the extensive Taylor report showed, there is no doubt the liability lies with the police and stewards. The fans were just being fans.

You CAN blame Liverpool for the shellsuit, though.

OMG! You're not allowed to say this. You will be accused of being out of order.

Liverpool fans are still mongdivs in this day and age - but you don't hear much about it - probably because people are worried about upsetting the self pitying club. Mugging their own fans at the CL final - trying to storm the turnstiles (you would have thought they would know better after Hillsbrough). Then the incidents at Old Trafford in an FA Cup semi final where they caused tens of thousands of £s worth of damage to the concourses and toilets....But it's all ok - It's Liverpool FC - they have history.

Megagreed.

Scousers need to accept some of the blame for what happened on that day. Shocking policing etc which has been exposed over and over again, but it's almost become taboo these days to blame sections of the Liverpool crowd which caused it to get so out of control. This is in no way trying to get a rise out of the HNA scouse massive just MHO and something that massively irrit8es. I understand to a certain extent about wanting more answers but to pass the buck completely is shameful and embarrassing.

*w8s for backlash*

Unlike Chelsea who have loads of history off the pitch but so little on it.
