glass half full Sadly, the Rec will probably go the way of the late, lamented Goldstone Ground. It is on a prime site for development.

the military connection is being gradually severed...i think the location with ease of access/parking etc coupled with the equidistance between aldershot/north camp/farnborough would make for an ideal "shared" arena.

Divvy Well you haven't answered if this is something the military would be happy with? Bearing in mind you will want to erect stands on their running track and remove their athletics equipment that would be in the way. All you've suggested is this is good for the football club, even though they want to distance themselves from the very people you want to share a stadium with.
