YateleyRoyal Remind me who set up the only goal of the game? A full back bursting up the pitch doesn't seem very 'park the bus' to me....

Royalclapper Howard Webb was great, tried to keep the game flowing throughout.

Brum Royal Has a Champions League or European Cup final ever been contested between two sides from the same city before? Or any of the other European competitions for that matter

genome If it was an all Madrid final they might as well just move the final to the Bernabeu or Vicente Calderon and save everyone the hassle of travelling to Portugal

TBM I know it's nice to see a "new" team doing well etc but my word Atletico play boring football, reminds me of how Inter won it or Chelsea the other year. 10 men behind the ball and the look for that 1 counter attack.
Effective - yes
Attractive - no
And as I have no ties with any of the clubs left I want probably Real to win it simply cos they are better to watch.

Mr Angry That result last night was a wake up call to all the English pundits (and all Chelsea fans) who think that when (not if) Chelsea get to the Final it will merely be a formality before John Terry lifts the trophy. Stunning display by Real Madrid.
