Winston Biscuit Borussia Dortmund signing Sébastien Haller for €35m from Ajax as their replacement for Haaland

West Ham aside, his number are very decent

Top scorer in the Dutch league last season and scored 11 goals in 8 Champions League games too

Was excellent when at Frankfurt as well prior to the West Ham switch.

As I've mentioned Frankfurt - they signed Mario Götze from PSV earlier in the week for €4m as they prepare for their first CL campaign - seems to be over his mental health and injury issues and still only 30 - could me an excellent signing for them.

Bit surprised they haven't gone for someone a bit younger but his numbers are decent. Nowhere near as mobile as Haarland but not many are tbf.

Winston Biscuit Chelsea loan Lukaku to Inter for £7M having bought him from Inter for £97.5M just 10 months ago

No obligation to purchase at the end of the loan. Chelsea will continue to cover £60k a week of his wages. Next summer he will still have 3 years of his Chelsea left to run.

The old Ukraine situation has really hampered their ability to throw money around willy-nilly hasn't it?!!?

Dean Henderson goes to Nottingham Forest on a season long loan. I worry about Henderson, not sure he is as good as he thinks he is.

That’s a decent second choice having missed out on Pope

He's never going to find out unless he leaves Man U. At 25 he needs to be playing every week.

Talking of Pope I think Newcastle have done one of the best bits of business in this window-£15 million for England's best keeper IMHO.

Clearly Pep knows what he’s doing, but I don’t see the value in this one

Needs to replace Fernandinho, Phillips will cost half of what Declan Rice would, English. Pretty decent transfer imo.

Thought Philips was better suited to Liverpool with Henderson aging, and Milner only got one season left in him as cover. Perhaps the front three are their priority this window though.

Winston Biscuit
paultheroyal Where does Gareth Bale go now? Retirement talk be dead in the water. He will need a premier league club to keep up intensity and fitness.

Man Utd? Aston Villa? Liverpool perhaps for a season?

Maybe I am wrong, but I wouldn't think his level would be anywhere near those clubs. And I am not sure those clubs would want 6 months of helping a player get fit for another team anyway.

I am spreading my net wide here by guessing either:

Spurs with no contract so will just train to keep fit

A team who have just gone up to the Prem as its good for their profile and he gets games as a good level

A football league club (Cardiff) where he will not play every game

An MLS club in a warm place as their season runs to November

I reckon option 3 or 4 are most likely

Bale joins Los Angeles FC

Can't say I blame him, If someone puts the studs through him in the Championship that's him out of the world cup.

Cardiff fans tonight, LOL

Maybe one of the ‘old-cloggers that are ‘working for the yankee dollar’ (now there’s a song) will have a nibble at his shins tho?

Lots of talk that Neymar might be on the move for a 'cut price fee'

Would love to see him play at a club where he is worked hard to get the best out of him, and leave his theatrics and drama queen antics aside. Bloke is so outrageously talented it will be a real shame if his 4 years at Barca is all we see if him performing at his best.

Jesus to Arsenal pretty much a done deal. Good signing.
