I certainly hope we're keeping Tabbs on him.

I'm not sure we want a player here that Chris Coleman has "enjoyed".

We wre looking at him a couple of years ago when his contract was up at Brentford, and didn't sign him then. He's not done enough at Cov to warrant us picking him up, especially as if we do make any movs, they need to have the potential to step up next season to the prem.

Why can't you copy and paste the article rather than just the link? Some of us are lazy and can't be bothered to open up another Tabb you know!

Here, for all us lazy geets, is the article.

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has admitted that midfielder Jay Tabb could leave the club this summer.

Tabb's Sky Blues contract expires at the end of the season.

And Coleman told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "Tabb is a player we want to keep at the club, that is obvious, but he has not agreed a contract.

"We have to enjoy him while he is with us. He is a London boy who lives up here by himself and we have to look at the bigger picture."

Tabb, 24, joined Coventry from Brentford in 2006 and has since attracted interest from a number of clubs.

I think the answer might well be 'copyright'. To link to another site is ok but to 'plagiarise it' is not. It is a low risk of any legal comeback I am sure (in this case) but there are places that will take offence at people copying their content - hence it is probably safer to link to the actual page.

Do me a flavour. Quoting the BBC website is hardly plagiarism. Saying I wrote it I would concede that I might be breaking a law... Would be surprised if ... ah, I've lost interest in my own argument and you may be right. Not going to stop doing it though.

..which is entirely your right. It does present a risk of legal action on copyright grounds but, as I implied above, probably not a significant one. Still, even safer to just link of course.

supplying a link saves bandwidth does it not, also I dont like massive quotes from other sites, cant see the need, a link is easy, and if someone then quotes it you dont get the whole thing again.
