We need to sell some central defenders, but I don't want Bikey to be one of them.

Wouldn't surprise me though, I'm certain he'd be sold if a good offer was made.

THis would make me rather unhappy, but at least we have plenty of centrebacks.

Yes to become an average champioship team - thats the way its going - all of a sudden Coppell is saying give the academy a chance- nothing against that but totally against the view that the academy players werent even on his radar for last 3 seasons - or is it another one of Madejskis cost cutting exercises!

For £3m that would be great.

Dodgy temperment and clumsy in the tackle.

Dubes, Ivar and Pearce are more than suitbale as first teamers, Sonko is still around too.

C'ya!

why would reading be willing to sell bikey he is one of our best defenders, and has the potential to turn into a brilliant defender, and Coppell reiterated that a couple of months back. we need to get rid of a few centre backs as we have to many, but not bikey!!

£3 million sounds like amazing business for Bikey. He's never going to be more than a reserve for us.
Sell sell sell.

Fuuuuuuming. This, of any deals, couldn't and shouldn't go through. It'll be 'lights out' for this season if Bikey goes.

Trouble is, if accepted, he'll chase the money - no question.

You value him higher than that?

I thought Kitson's £5.5m was ridiculas and over prived until I learned that some of that money depends on Stoke's survival in the Premiership.

Stupid f**king club!!

I know that Coppell feels that Bikey is our best defender but lacks concentration.Whether that problem can ever be solved who knows?
Probably the best thing for us would be for him to get a not-too-serious injury at The Olympics knocking on the head any transfer.

If Bikey goes we're left with:

Sonko - has said he doesn't want to play for us
Duberry - will turn 33 this season
Ingimarsson - will turn 31 this season
Sodje - not good enough
Bennett - not good enough
Pearce - unproven

We've more than enough central defenders of Championship standard.

No problem.

I remember when we barely had 2!!

He's the best defender at the club.
