Reading fantasy transfer warchest pot

by Gus the teenage cow » 24 Mar 2009 15:22

Imagine we go up and have cash to the tune of 10 million and we can buy 3 players if value 3-4 million each, well choose which is your favourite from the list of players prvoided, all thes eplayers are from valid linkings with us in the last 12-18 months and all are valued at around that 3-4 million mark, the top three players in the voting are the fans choice and hopefully the balding guy will read this thread and make the bids that the fans want

anyway select your favourite transfer target

I think I'd fancy my chances in the mighty hoops next season.

interesting to see there is no greta clamour for more old boys to return, this is due to

a) the players move on, so do the fans

b) the performances of the two old boys who have previously returned haven't exactly set the world alight

c) the performances of the three old boys at their current clubs suggests they're in dire form

LOL if you think that Gunnar, Cisse or Harper would be good enough for Prem football next year.

Bonehead.

i recall harper being a mainstay in a team that finished 8th, oh and you fail to mention czech international and promising young turk, we are overloaded in midfield and certainly cisse and gunnar are good enough squad options

A big LOL to anyone who thinks our central midfield is even remotely good enough to play in the Premiership, and an even bigger LOL to those who voted for Sonko.

Huddlestone has better technique and passing ability than our entire starting eleven put together.

Huddlestone has a bigger waistline than our entire starting eleven put together.

harsh but 'greed

i wonder will sidders return to us, after all this is a man who believes 20k a week isn't enough to support someone with a young family

I'd rather we spent the money on hiring someone to kill Gus.

I'll do it for £10,00...

then we will still have £9,990,000... plenty left over.

On topic - I voted for Huddlestone... I really thing that he should leave Tottenham - he hardly gets a run...

Coppell doesn't even deem Karacan good enough to start in the Champ ATM, let alone the prem. Harper has been shite ever since Sidders left so bringing the 06/07 season is pointless. Cisse has not set the world alight in the Championship, Gunnar is past it, and Marek is only starting to show his quality in a 5 man midfield. So ideally we would need 3 CM's next year if we are to accomodate Marek, and TBH our only prem-quality CM is Marek himself.
