Online Ticketing - How many tickets have I bought?

by Forbury Lion » 25 Oct 2006 18:29

I've been online to order a spurs ticket each for a couple of friends with their membercards linked to mine.

Selected tickets, verified order, clicked buy. Website went on a slow one and the final confirmation page failed to load.

No confirmation e-mail received, usually they come straight away. Went back in to reselect tickets and verify, Sure enough it says the two members already have tickets for the game (quatity 2 can only be 1).

Leave it a bit, still no confirmation e-mail so go in again, select tickets and click verify. Customers each have 3 tickets and maximum is 1, asks me to remove items... yet basket only shows 1 ticket!

Have just logged onto one of the customers accounts and checked the Royalty points screen, Shows nothing added for the Spurs game.

Is there no way of looking at your purchase history? - I want to know if I've actually bought tickets or not and if not, how can I do so without calling the premium line?

Customer xxxxxxx1 has exceeded the quantity limit for the product Tottenham Hotspur. Either amend the quantity or assign the purchase to others before proceeding, the maximum is 1 you have 3.
Customer xxxxxxx2 has exceeded the quantity limit for the product Tottenham Hotspur. Either amend the quantity or assign the purchase to others before proceeding, the maximum is 1 you have 3.

I've had this a few times - looks like when you put tickets into the basket they're reserved, and then never get released from your record.

Once I came back the next day and they'd gone, but another time I had to phone and buy them.

Just been back online, was able to buy two tickets so the other 6 had obviously timed out and were removed from my basket.
