Ian Royal Yeah, I'd take that signing.

If Hunt goes, which seems like a big possibility we definitley need both a right and left winger to add to a central midfielder.

Even if Harper, Marek & Hunt all stay it could still be a very new look midfield. I still think seeing as we basically have no reliable good wingers who can cross left, that it would be a good idea to shift to a 4-3-3 / 4-5-1. Perfect time to try it.

Marek - Bikey - Harper would have enough steel and creativity to batter championship midfields.

Kitson supported by two goalscoring winger / forwards would also work perfectly IMO.

as a side note to this i would like to see a 4-3-3 of sorts but with one of the strikers sitting in the whole between the other two strikers and the midfield.

one of the things kitson does and which was highlighted by coppell when he was injured is that he provides a bridge between midfield and attack, so i would like to see him played there as a sheringham type player, with Doyle/Lita/New player/Long playing up top to feed of of him.

I'd accept that bid seeing as it's ten times Hunt's value plus sorts our right wing problem out at the same time.

Norfolk Royal Yes, he broke his leg in December and is nearly 30. Hmmmm.

So that makes him worse than Little, who is over 30 and out injured for last season?

Vision Fitness remains a question mark as far as Edwards is concerned but as a player i would be more than happy to have him here.

He has a injury record like Glen Little, but we'll offer him a 3 year deal no doubt. Good player though, so might be worth a punt.

With our *current* lack of wingers we might have to play that way!

Now, you are an educated man (you keep telling us that, so I must be convinced). That being the case, you will know that the value of a commodity is the price that someone is prepared to pay for it. Thus, IF someone offers that for Hunt it cannot be said to be 10x his value, can it?

Coppell's Right Footed 11 Stephen Hunt is to have his medical tomorrow morning with a press conference scheduled for tomorrow afternoon to confirm the signings of both Stephen Hunt and Darren Bent.

Carlos Edwards will apparently arrive in Reading this evening and stay at the Millenium Hotel before having his medical presumably tomorrow morning aswell.

I'm sorry, but I don't quite believe you. What's your source?

No sign of it happening yet and it's fast approaching the middle of the afternoon.....

Edwards would be a good signing for us, good technique, can actually cross a decent ball in AND knows where the goal is. Perfect player for us on the right wing for the next 1-2 seasons. :)

He can take a good freekick too. Bargain if we get him and money for Hunt.

I'd love this to be true, but do we need Edwards? I'd take the £7.5m they've been quoted as offering myself. Henry can do a very good job in the Championship and HRK and Kebe as back up, plus an extra £5m for someone like Whaley or Knightly.

You mean Kightly, who has just signed a big new contract at Wolves? (Or was it signed elsewhere, I can't remember, but there is a reason we won't get him now)

Sounds good to me. I'd approve of it. Have some new imagination in the team. Bye bye fizzy poop league and hello to the Premier League again. Just sign him SC.
