BBC:

Fulham and Reading have been told they need to bid £2m to prise Tom Soares away from Crystal Palace. (Sunday Mirror)

Although he scored against us yesterday he didn't look any sharper than Karacan. I suppose we'd only really need him if we lost Hunt or Harper...

Wouldn't say no to another lad from Reading in the squad.

Though if Palace won't deal with us re: Watson, why would they with Soares?

Soares is a winger isn't he? We don't need one.

Surely we need a new right winger - after all Kebe is crap, isn't it? Oh, I forgot, he's actually great. :D

No CM i think. Why would we want one of them anyway unless its to make way for harper who's leaving or something who knows?

Soares has been played on the wing but his best position is central midfield. Palace fans are very divided about Soares - some think he has never quite made it while others think he is a key player for them. Sound familiar? There are similarities to the Harper debate here at Reading.

Warnock is keen to sell one of Soares or Watson as the replacement for the latter was brought in for the new season (Carle) and he needs funds for new strikers.

If we bought Soares then he would need to be used as an attacking midfielder rather than the holding role.

Not as much as Carle - what a player he is! Even though he looks like Ginola!
