Sir Rodger Doyle Here we go again!

Just re-post the stuff from 12 months ago.

Mainly because we still have the same ffffffing problems as this time last year. Manager isn't up for it, players aren't up for it, the same old faces are picked despite their form and tactics are rubbish against teams that have figured us out (i.e. anyone who'll play 451) the only difference is that this year we have a squad that is more than capable of winning the league and we're still gash!

Schards#2
SirGarth I think what most worrying about Coppell is the fact that everyone else can see what is wrong and he can't.

I thought his reaction to the match on the radio was so blinkered it was laughable. To say he was upset that lots of fans left before the end is way out of order!!

I would hate to see him go, but if he can't start telling certian players some home truths about themselves then it might be better if he was to go!!!

If there isn't some improvement/change next week, then my season ticket will not be used again until changes are made.

sam1 You been on the Stella Schards?

Nope, I just find these plastics saying they are not going again until things improve repulsive.

You should support a team through thick and thin, whether you agree with what the manager's doing or not.

Throwing your toys out of the pram because you don't agree with manager is just pathetic IMHO. Whinge on here all you like but to stop going in a hissy fit makes you the very worst of fair weather supporter.

I agree, who needs such "sh*t" "supporters". These "types" who happily buy a seat for the entire season but expect to exercise their right to use it as and when they see fit are nothing but "total w@nkers"

This practice needs to be stamped on PDQ before the club runs out of spare capacity and is forced to expand..............................and what sort of "real" "supporter" would want that for his club having supported them through "thick and thin" ?

Royalee Sorry, but I've lost all confidence in him - how he can still play Oster after his last two inept performances is a joke and he once again didn't change it early enough. In the close-ups you could see he was a lost man and he honestly doesn't have a clue about how he'd get us out of this. It's all very well Madejski saying he can take us back up, but the fact of the matter is the current squad aren't good enough to take us back up and we'll lose our best players anyway.

Royalee, please edit this post to read "Kebe" as opposed to Oster.

No probs...................as long as he doesn't mind sitting between a pair of rather intimidating blokes, one of which may not survive the game should, by some miracle, USA gets on and scores!
(but we have been waiting on that eventuality for a very long time :D )

Scarface
andrew1957 If we were 10 points adrift I could understand this speculation - but we are effectively 2 points adrift (as we have a worse goal difference than Brum) and they have a much harder run in than us.

When I fill in the PL predictor the bottom 7 sides all fail to get 36 points so we don't need to get loads of points to stay up.

I am sure SC will keep us up. Have some faith people.

This cracks me up. So we need 36 points, which is another 14 points. What is there in the current form to suggest we'll get say 5 more wins ? It's laughable mate I'm sorry.

SC did a great job and we all knew this season would be tougher. However I am convinced we had the basis of decent squad, and with a better transfer policy this year we could of easily finsihed above the bottom 6 or 7 teams. The when things started to go pear shaped he's then been far to reluctant to drop players, so this is why I lay full blame on Coppell for the current situation and thus I couldn't give a shit at what he achieved before. I don't want the club to go down and I don't believe the current manager has the stomach nor motivational qualities for a relegation fight.

Who would I bring in......Well I couldn't care less if it was fcuking Ian Dowie at the moment, at least it would be a change at the helm, which might freshen things up a bit.

Scarface, you were so wrong.

Oh, wait...

Woodcote, don't class yourself as a 'supporter' as you are not, you're an embarrasement to the genuine football who follows their side through good and bad.

Supporters continue to get behind their team even when the going gets tough. You flounce out like a big girl's blouse after 47 minutes and vow not to come back until things are good again. The two things are very different.

Hopefully you are as good as your word and give/sell your ticket to a genuine supporter. At least it'll be one less empty seat among the many.
