Dirk Gently Peterboro, Sheff Weds & Scunny.
Who's going to look up the stats to find out the last time that two of the bottom three at the half way stage have survived ?

Don't worry, I'll be happy to draw your attention to my post come May![]()
I just reckon that Scunny are going to dragged into the mess and that Sheff Weds revival will be short-lived. And it's so damn close - we're now just 6 points off 12th place, which is a spread of 11 teams!

Victor Meldrew People always say about this division that everybody can beat everybody and that is why relegation and promotion is normally tight.
This time it does look as though the top 2 will come from the current top 3 and Peterboro are nearly down but all else is up for grabs.
Form for so many teams is up and down like a yo-yo and so many teams seem to be able to get a surprising win when least expected-ours could well be the Newcastle game.
We are definitely still in the mix but winning games makes so much more of an impact than drawing and lately we appear to have struck a bit more of a winning mentality partly brought about by the form of Mills and Griffin and Shane Long (at long last) looking more like a footballer.

PEARCEY Next Saturday is huge. Beat Sheff Wed and we are four points clear of them with a game in hand.
Whatever happens we must not lose this game.

PEARCEY You know what I mean Monsieur Royalle....if the game is level with a couple of minutes to go I wouldn't want the team to go all out for a winner risking being caught on the break...
