Its a tough call. Siggy will win it but Kebe, Mills, Church, Griffin,Feds, McAnuff, Long and possibly Tabb have all got a chance of the next two places.

Sigurdsson should of course win this award by a country mile, but given the amount of retarded player of the season decision by the supporters over the years who knows?

93/94 - Jimmy Quinn scores 40 goals as Reading win Div 2, left back Dylan Kerr wins POTS :|
02/03 - Nicky Forster the lone striker in a 4-5-1 as we surprisingly take Div 1 by storm, James Harper wins POTS
08/09 - In a free-scoring season, left back Chris Armstrong wins POTS

Who would you have given it to last season Floyd? Doyle scored 2 goals in the 2nd half of the season.

I voted Doyle IIRC. Nobody really deserved it on the back of the pathetic second half of the season. I might vote Shaun Cummings today.

URZZ Alike everyone I'll go Sig 1st, which is amazingly obvious.

Kebe second, imo he has performed so amazingly under McDermott.

Third I'm gonna go Jobi, from Sep until December he looked like our best player. Full of tricks, fast, strong, experienced. Only critism you could give him is he was better under Rodgers but regardless I rate him and kind of wish we had him whilst we were in the Premier League.

I think thats a little bit unfair on Jobi. He was by far the best plater under Rodgers, but now under McDermott everyone is now playing to a higher level. I don't think his level of performances haves dropped, everyone has just got better

Sig is an obvious one as said. Then it's difficult because no one has consistently played and performed to a great standard other than him. Bertrand has been consistently good, but with a fair bit of weakness defensively.

Kebe has been on fire one half of the season but anonymous much of the rest. McAnuff the same. Tabb has played in spurts, Karacan started well but went downhill a bit and hasn't played enough. Church has been good but not good enough. Long has done his usual good for 1 month a season. Griffin only arrived in January, Mills hasn't played all season...

It's tough, but I'm thinking these three at the moment.

Sig
Griffin
Bertrand

Sig, Betrand, Kebe like the others have said.

Also kudos to Mills, Church, Tabb, Griffin and Mcanuff.

Would say Bertrand for consistently good performances but I don't think he's improved us enough defensively so will go for Sig who has been a revelation in his 1ST season, looks Premier class. Fed has also had a brilliant year for his 1st full season. Kebe most improved. Tabb awesome but hasn't played enough, same for Mills. Mcanuff/Kebe 2nd best player for half a year each. Mcanuff probably edges 2nd for consistency.

Top two for me is easy:

1. Sig
2. Kebe

Third is a little trickier. For me it's between Bertrand, Griffin and McAnuff.

I'm not sure, I think I'm just a little more grounded than everyone else.

I'm going against the majority & picking Bertrand for POTS. Gylfi 2nd, McAnuff 3rd.

Bertrand & McAnuff were both quality under Bodger as well as Brian & I'm not sure you can say that about Gylfi 100%. Add to that he has played pretty much every game for us this season. I think he's earnt it.

Nice to have so many candidates as opposed to 1 last season - Tabb & Kebe get special mentions as well.

If he doesn't win, maybe he wont be leaving on a jet plane to a bigger club.

I'll get my coat.

Hmm perhaps I'm being overly generous to Griffin and harsh on Kebe. Especially seeing as he's scored AGAIN. Switch Griff for Kebe in my vote.

Will almost definately be Sigs.....................but the Reading man of the season award without any doubt should go to Brian Mcdermott, how the hell he has got these players to perform......................4 months ago we were dire, no confidence and lacking any kind of spirit, but wow what a job that man has done.

McAnuff over Kebe? Seriously?

Even though McAnuff hasn't done a great deal since Rodgers left and Kebe has got into double figures with goals?

Definitely McAnuff over Kebe for me. Think he's been very consistent for us & has had to play on the left a lot as well which isn't his favoured side. Kebe wins 2nd half of season without question but McAnuff more consistent over the whole season for me.
