Daily Record user No Champions' League experience and no Cups won as a Manager.

So, ideal for CeLOLtic, then?

SpaceCruiser It's only today that I've noticed that the SPL has a post-split thingy going on. ie. each team plays each other 3 times and then the league splits up into 2 halves and they play the games amongst themselves in this new mini-league. I get the impression from the SPL website FAQ that this was to ensure that each team only plays 38 league games.

How long has this been going on for? Bit of a funny system to implement, tbf. It seems that some clubs are not happy with the remaining fixtures.

Its a retarded system tbf.

Specially designed for fans of the Old Firm presumably....

I thought the 12 year olds were posting on the team board these days?

DrZoidberg This story is an absolute gift for me for winding up a lot of my Scottish based colleagues.

Seeing as he's not " Celtic minded" and doesn't have any links with the tic, he will not be welcomed there.

They would have finished 3rd or 4th at best without his goals. Which says it all.

Anyone that thinks Rangers are much better than Celtic is simply deluded, Rangers are a poor outfit and so are Celtic, quite possibly the worse standard of SPL for many many years, Rangers won the league because they were marginally less shitter than Celtic this season.

Both are shit, you're right, but Rangers were a lot better than Celtic. One man made it look a lot closer than it was! One man that wont be there next season.

One man doesn't make a whole side, it makes them better, but then Tomas Priskin could have made Celtic look better, but Rangers aren't that good a side and ths standard is way below what is has been in recent years, but Rangers were better than Celtic, that is fact, and if Celtic want to make inroads again, then they need to look at someone like Lambert rather than Lennon.

'greed, but Keane made a massive difference. Without him, as said, maybe a 3rd place finish.

Certainly a new manager required, and some spending on that team. Could well be Billy Davies if Forest cock up the Play-offs. I know they talk up the job as a big job, but it takes a complete tool to fail at either Celtic or Rangers. Curbishley would do a decent job up there.

Interesting summer ahead. Do Celtic miss out on the CL now as well? If so, very costly.

Billy Davies is a rangers man, If he goes to Celtic he knows he'll never be welcome back at Rangers, I'd say he probably wouldn't go there. Lambert has already said he doesn't want to go there at this stage of his career and with the treatment celtic fans have given the last few managers, I believe him. I don't like lennon much but it has to be said he has done a decent job and he does have the balls and the fight for a job like that. Mark hughes is also a possibility. Tredder, you're right in saying the standard of the SPL is as bad as its been - agreed. Had Keane not joined, you probably would have finished 3rd or below, which is frankly embarrassing though.

I've heard Kevin Keegan is set to be offered the job! The SPL though is a league which has gone down in standard and its rarely that exciting. Bar 4 games a season. Who in this country is going to watch Motherwell v St Johnstone on a Sunday afternoon when they could be watching one of the big 4?

Well not many as it's not the English league - I doubt many in Scotland will tune in to Sky's Saturday lunchtime showing this weekend - Birmingham V Burnley. I doubt many in England will for that matter.

'greed. I also show a bigger interest in the goings on in L1 and L2 than anything in the SPL. In fact, a Conference game is more appealing tbh.

If Keane hadn't joined then they would have drafted someone else in, so 2nd was always going to happen, i fear for the SPL in europe at the moment.

Who else would they have brought in with his quality, disagree on that point as rasmussen was signed. But agreed on quality of SPL in europe.
