Woodcote RoyalroadrunnerHalf Man Half Biscuit Yes! You though he was going deaf on us didn't you.
But here's what he thinks (On Five Live) Man City are very tired after so many games along with the trip to the Ukraine.
But he fancies City to get to the final.
I thought Reading would be beaten at Everton in the fifth round, but Royals boss Brian McDermott proved everyone wrong. He has done a very good job there - his side are unbeaten in their last seven games and are on the fringes of the Championship play-off race too.
Reading look well organised when they attack, and they will definitely pose a threat at Eastlands because their striker Shane Long knows where the goal is.
But the thing about Manchester City is that they can leave a few first-choice players out and still look very strong, and I would be surprised if their manager Roberto Mancini plays a seriously weakened side - what is the point when he has got this far in the competition?
People are already talking about the possibility of City playing United in the semis or even the final and, if I were their owners, I would be thinking that I want to win the Cup.
Even getting to Wembley would be huge for City, considering it is 30 years since they were last in an FA Cup semi-final.
They are one game from managing that, and are at home to a Championship side. Mancini might be concentrating on their chances of a top-four finish but I think they will qualify for the Champions League anyway and, for their fans, they have to go for it in this tie and look to give them a day out too.
Prediction: 2-0
Bloody tw@t!
I can't see why he's a twat there. Seems fair enough in all honesty.
+2
Only a grade A twat would call someone else a twat for predicting that City, with home advantage and far superior resources, will win this fixture.
Who knows, perhaps we have one more miracle up our sleeve but Lawro's detractors just make mugs of themselves with remarks like this.
