I saw the 1991 play-off final against FC Albanie at the Stade Melodramatique in Cannes.

They were selling Simmonds bitter in champagne flutes at the Boules Bar.

Reading lost 4-1 and I picked up eighty grand in Swiss francs from the fixed-odds donkey sellers round the back by the Citroen dealers.

Anyone else remember this?

Went to the previous loses plus the Simod cup. The three games had a total of 17 goals thats 5.6 goals per game. Will be happy with a 1-0 win this time.

Two for me. As with most others, hoping third times the charm. Last time I first hand experienced promotion was at Brentford and that was an amazing feeling, especially at the age of 14.. Really want to come away with that feeling of disbelief/awe, like I felt after the Cardiff game.

I missed the game. I was working as a fixed odds Donkey from the back of a 1946 Citroen flat bed. Went to the Dynamo Plopov game in 92' at the PotatoStadt Arena in Gilkesgrad though...
