TheMaraudingDog Cup Semi Final against Liverpool I don't see how it gets much bigger than that and yet I present to you taken today at Manchester college, city representatives trying to sell tickets for the game on Wednesday at £10 each, note the queue

Yet they are in a cup semi final and your not

How does it feel to unsuccessfully retain the FA Cup :?:

35 years to win a trophy. 45 minutes to throw it away.

Is it only me who finds it a bit weird for aggers to come on here and gloat about this? I mean we're not, generally speaking (one famous exception), City sypmathisers. I mean, fair play to United for seeing them off but the future of football in Manchester has a certain inevitability about it and I for one would pipe down before I embarrassed myself. Reading fans are historically not f*cking bothered about attendances anyway....

FWIW I'm glad Man U are holding them at bay for the time being, just hope they can finish the season within 10 points or so.

I think Spurs have had to wait rather more than 20 seasons for a chance to be title contenders.

I think being three points off of top more than half way through the season constitutes being title contenders.

Note the past tense.

Spurs hadn't challenged since 1985. Before that you have to go back to the early 1960s.

Shearer saying there's about 5 or 6,000 empty seats and they're not giving their team any backing.

Weird it isn't full though. City's fans are all from Mankfester.

A Cup Semi against a big club when City are having is as good as its ever been for them, 6,000 odd away fans and STILL 12,000 empty seats tonight.

They're not really there.

It's a pretty poor showing in anyone's book but if they go on to win the cup they're not going to care - not like they're missing the gate receipts too much.

I wonder if their fanbase will grow if they domin8 for the next decade or so; maybe Man U are too close and already too big (er, for City's liking at the very least).

That was embarasing. I don't really get it, the gate receipts from that game would not cover Silvas weekly wage, so it's pointless charging £35 for a game live on BBC 1 it's not as if City need the money.
